I am no big fan of growing my own nails too long and yet at times I wish I had long nails. A lot of you girls out there could be facing the same dilemma and the solution really is to get hold of artifical nails and apply them.
These days artifical nails of good quality are easily available in the market. One such set of artifical nails that I came across recently is the one from Faces Canada.

These nails come in a cute 'briefcase' packaing, as I like to call it. There is a nail applicator as well as glue inside the package. The whole thing is easy to carry around as well in case you are planning to take them with you someplace :)

Now let me tell you how simple and easy it is to apply these artifical nails.
Step 1. Clean your nails properly, file them and buff them for a stronger application of the artificial nail.
Step 2. Select the artificial nails based on your nail size and pick it up with the nail applicator so that the inside of the nail is visible and available for glue application.

Step 3. Put a few drops of glue on the inside of the nail and using the tip of the glue tube, spread the glue properly ensuring glue is applied on the entire nail.
 |
Step 3: Applying the glue on the inside of the nail |
Step 4. Now gently place this nail on top of your nail ensuring the edges are properly aligned and then press it on.
 |
Step 4: Placing the artificial nail on your real nail |
That's it. Follow these steps and you are all set to go!
The artifical nails that I have from faces have
24 nails and comes at a price of
Rs 299. The pattern is very cute and these are available in different patterns.
Unfortunately my nails are so small that those artifical nails don't have a size match for mine. I could only match the size to my thumb and middle finger.
